To all the walkers, runners and their supporters; to all our
sponsors, survivors, and volunteers:
A heartfelt thank you to each of you! It is because of you
that we had an amazingly successful 15th Annual
Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure - our biggest
ever, in fact. Many of you joined our "Ignite the Promise"
pledge club and went the extra mile with your fundraising
efforts. With your help, we saw a stunning 27% growth in our
total revenue over last year. You've truly outdone
yourselves this year!
It is because of your time, energy and dedication that we
are able to do our work across the state. With your support,
we're able to invest in local breast cancer treatment,
outreach and education programs right here in Connecticut.
We're able to provide informational materials and guest
speakers at events that benefit the Komen Connecticut
Affiliate across the state. We're able to work daily towards
a world without breast cancer.
We are proud to have your commitment to our mission, and
couldn't be more impressed by your generosity. Again, thank
you for being our champions. We hope to see you in 2009!
