Outreach to women affected by breast cancer and their families to provide financial assistance and a comprehensive array of free professional support services including education, counseling, practical assistance and referrals to additional services.
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Torrington The Pink Rose Program
Providing educational outreach and financial assistance to women in Litchfield County who are unable to afford costs associated with early detection screenings and diagnostic testing. The program seeks to increase outreach to Hispanic/Latino women who are uninsured or underinsured.
Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) Middletown Women Working Together: Middlesex County Breast Health Initiative
The program is a collaboration with Middlesex Hospital to provide women who qualify as working-poor with flexibility in accessing a range of breast cancer prevention and treatment services.
East Hartford Community Health Care, Inc. East Hartford Breast Health Education Program
The program seeks to facilitate education, screening, and treatment for  underserved women In East Hartford, Manchester and Vernon with a special focus on racial /ethnic minorities and women with incomes over 200% of the Federal Poverty Level who are uninsured because they do not qualify for any assistance.
Eastern Connecticut Health Network South Windsor The ACES Project
Outreach to the  female senior and disabled population that may need extra help in getting screening mammograms.
Fair Haven Community Health Center New Haven Fair Haven Mammogram Screening, Outreach and Follow up Project
The project is designed to increase the availability of mammography services to 1,400 inner city women.  The clients are mainly Latina, Black, and elderly women living in New Haven.
Griffin Hospital Derby Griffin Hospital's Breast Health Program-Enhancing Mammography Screening and Ancillary Services
The Rapid Diagnostic Breast Center’s Breast Health Program responds to the needs of uninsured/underinsured low income and ethnic minority individuals in the Lower Naugatuck Valley along a continuum. This includes educating women about the benefits of screening mammography, overcoming access issues, offering free mammograms, providing rapid diagnostic testing for a newly discovered lump, and offering classes which focus on survivors quality of life and well being.
Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective, Inc. Hartford Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
The program provides outreach, education and screening for women of low income, targeting lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women, women with HIV/Aids, and women of African American and Hispanic ethnicity.
Hartford Hospital Hartford Mobile Mammography and Beyond: Reaching Underserved and Uninsured Women  The program would cover the costs of mammograms for the women who are not enrolled in the CBCCEDP.
Hispanic Center of Greater Danbury, Inc. Danbury Hispanic Breast Cancer Project
The project will provide breast health education to Latinas and psychosocial support to Latinas facing breast cancer as well as to their family members. 
Hispanic Health Council Hartford Latina Breast Cancer Early Detection and Support Program
The program works to address the disproportionate mortality experienced by Latinas diagnosed with breast cancer due to late diagnosis, barriers to quality medical services, and socio-economic conditions that present challenges to self care.
Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain Supportive Funding for Breast Cancer Early Detection for Uninsured and Underinsured Women
The grant provides funds to cover many costs associated with breast biopsies which are not covered through the CBCCEDP.  Included are MRIs, CADs, mammography, and pre-operative work.
Hospital of Saint Raphael New Haven Looking Forward Patient Navigation & Wellness Program
The patient navigator will assure that any woman with a suspicious finding during breast cancer screening receives timely diagnosis, treatment, and support. The program offers a complex network of supports and wellness services, to empower women to participate more actively in their care and recovery.
Johnson Memorial Hospital Stafford Springs Circle of Care: Commitment to Improving Breast Health in Women
The funding will provide mammograms, clinical breast exams, and diagnostic testing for women who work but receive no insurance or minimal coverage.
Ledge Light Health District Groton Breaking the Silence
The focus of the program is to increase community breast cancer awareness and early breast cancer detection among minority populations in Southeastern CT with emphasis on African American Women, Spanish speaking communities, the elderly, and the medically underserved populations.
Midstate Medical Center Meriden MidState Community Breast Cancer Initiatives
The goals of this project include providing outreach to medically underserved women residing in Central CT, providing culturally sensitive education and support to Hispanic and African American breast cancer patients and survivors, and providing comprehensive care to theses patients and survivors to improve quality of life.
Naugatuck Valley Health District Seymour Breast CARE Program
The program will reach out to Naugatuck Valley women with information on breast health and how all women, particularly the uninsured, underinsured, and medically underserved, can access local mammograms.
New Milford Hospital New Milford Greater New Milford Breast Care Initiative
The project is the primary resource in the Greater New Milford area for promoting and facilitating compliance with breast screening guidelines and self examination techniques, and improving awareness and access to lymph edema care for post-surgical breast cancer patients.
Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center Fairfield The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center Medically Underserved
The project provides education for uninsured and underserved women in the Greater Bridgeport Region and Fairfield County about the importance of early detection.  Free screenings and diagnostic services are also provided.
Oak Hill Hartford Breast Health Education for Women with Intellectual Disabilities
The project provides outreach, education and screening, particularly for underserved populations such as women with disabilities.
Planned Parenthood of Connecticut New Haven Stamford, Norwalk, and Bridgeport Breast Cancer Early Detection Program
The goal is to identify breast cancer in the early stages while it is still responsive to treatment.  The program works with women who have no insurance or whose insurance does not cover breast cancer screening and targets women over 40 or women ages 35-39 who have risk factors for breast cancer.
Russo Family Foundation Shelton Project Success
The project offers free digital mammography and breast ultrasound for underinsured and uninsured women in the Greater Bridgeport Community.
Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center Hartford The Saint Francis Comprehensive Breast Health Center's Outreach Education Program  The goal of the program is to target uninsured and underinsured women by educating them on the importance of self  breast examinations and regular mammograms.
Saint Mary's Hospital Inc Waterbury Education, Outreach and Mammograms for Special Woman
The program provides education, outreach and mammography screening and diagnostic studies for Black and minority women in the Waterbury community.
Stamford Hospital Foundation Stamford Stamford Hospital's African American & Hispanic Mobile Mammography Outreach, Education and Screening Project
The project will conduct linguistically and culturally appropriate outreach, breast health education, and free mammography to 380 African American, Haitian, and Latino women living in the Stamford area who are undocumented, and/or uninsured/underinsured and ineligible for the CBCCEDP.
Uncas Health District Norwich Breast Health Action Program
The program provides a coordinated approach to breast health outreach and education to all women in the greater Norwich area in an effort to increase screenings, improve the awareness of early detection, and to increase access to care.
Yale-New Haven Hospital New Haven The Strategic Alliance for Learning, Outreach, and Networking
Outreach services to partnering organizations increase awareness of early detection for African American and Hispanic women (age 40+). The project includes teaching breast self-exams, providing screenings, and facilitating access to appropriate diagnostic follow-up services when necessary.
YWCA of New Britain New Britain "Moving Forward Education and Fitness Initiative"
This is an education and exercise program designed to assist women recovering from breast cancer treatment. Exercise to increase flexibility and strength is coupled with a support program and an educational series.
