   Helping out with Komen Connecticut events We often need small committees to help us plan our events, such as Tint the Town Pink and Family Fun Walk.

 General office work We can always use a hand around the office, writing thank yous, working with databases and other computer-based programs, and completing mass mailings.

REQUIRED WAIVER: I wish to volunteer for the Komen Connecticut Affiliate. I understand that the nature of volunteer activities that may be performed for the Affiliate and during a Komen event may involve physical activity, contact with unidentified and/or unfamiliar persons, or other potential risk of personal injury or accident. Knowing this and in consideration of being allowed to volunteer, I hereby assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur during my participation as a volunteer. In addition, I hereby release, save and indemnify and hold harmless Komen Connecticut, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Inc. and any of their partners, agents, sponsors, board members and successors from any and all liability claims, judgments or responsibility for such accident or injury.
